RTA reached out to Richmond schools!

RTA is pleased to announce the results of our latest collaboration with the Richmond Community Services Department (CSD) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).

We are able to support bringing tennis instruction and life skills counseling to over 270 youth of several Richmond schools from kindergarten to 7th grade.

This includes after school programming at tennis courts nearby the schools as well as tennis instruction during the PE periods during the school day.

Many thanks to the USTA Foundation who has generously supplied grant funds that have made this effort possible.

Watch for the additional schools being added to this program as 2018 unfolds.

And don’t forget tot tennis every Sat. morning (9:30 am) at the Hurlbut Tennis and Garden Park behind the Plunge building.
